SmartEmails is a small project with a specific philosophy. Here is the story — short version.

The story

SmartEmails comes out of years spent in SaaS cybersecurity — shipping products where "what happens to user data" is the first question, not the last. In parallel, we kept watching executives, salespeople and founders drown in 200+ emails a day and burn two hours daily on a task that should take twenty minutes.

Existing AI email tools felt either too invasive (full mailbox replacement, weeks to retrain) or too vague on what happens to the data they process. None were built with the mindset familiar from cybersecurity: minimum access, data minimization, transparent handling, no hidden subprocessors.

So we built the tool we wanted to use: an AI that lives inside Gmail and Outlook, triages incoming emails, drafts replies, and treats your inbox data like the business asset it is. Three minutes to set up. One click to remove.
