Terms of Service

By using SmartEmails ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SmartEmails is an AI-powered email classification service that connects to your Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account to automatically categorize your emails. The Service includes a web dashboard and a Chrome browser extension.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

New users receive a free trial limited to 50 emails over 7 days. After the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Share your account with others
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited emails
• Exceed your plan's email classification limits through automated means

By connecting your email account, you grant SmartEmails permission to:

• Read your email metadata (sender, subject, date, snippet)
• Apply labels (Gmail) or move emails to folders (Outlook)
• Create draft replies on your behalf
• Access your calendar for meeting-related features

You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting your account in Settings.

Email classification is performed by AI and may not be 100% accurate. You can manually reclassify any email. SmartEmails is not responsible for actions taken based on incorrect classifications.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and comply with GDPR.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime or email misclassification.

SmartEmails is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
